Part 1: First Look

MSRP: $160.00 Website: www.eduard.cz WOW!! When Eduard says Royal Class they really mean it. This hefty box arrived just chock full of goodies. Two complete F6F hellcat kits, a dash 3 and a dash 5, all the resin parts to make a night-fighter variant of either plane and resin engines as well as resin wheels for both kits. Five separate photo-etch sheets, one to do both cockpits, two complete landing gear bay sets, one sheet with two gun bays and one for the engine details which can be used on the resin or plastic engines. There is an expansive decal sheet that gives you makings for nine different aircraft including two 'K' model drones. There's even a bonus replica checklist placard. This is one big box of model. From what I can see, the modeler can choose to super detail, build straight OOB, or combine and build whatever level of the model he wants. The choice is yours. My biggest problem is picking which two variants to build. I'm leaning toward a basic WW II dash 3 and a dash 5 night-fighter or maybe a drone just because they're so colorful.
